DigiByte Core ============= Setup --------------------- DigiByte Core is the original DigiByte client and it builds the backbone of the network. It downloads and, by default, stores the entire history of DigiByte transactions, which requires a few hundred gigabytes of disk space. Depending on the speed of your computer and network connection, the synchronization process can take anywhere from a few hours to a day or more. To download DigiByte Core, visit [digibyte.org](https://digibyte.org/en/download/). Running --------------------- The following are some helpful notes on how to run DigiByte Core on your native platform. ### Unix Unpack the files into a directory and run: - `bin/digibyte-qt` (GUI) or - `bin/digibyted` (headless) ### Windows Unpack the files into a directory, and then run digibyte-qt.exe. ### macOS Drag DigiByte Core to your applications folder, and then run DigiByte Core. ### Need Help? * See the documentation at the [DigiByte Wiki](https://dgbwiki.com/) for help and more information. * Ask for help on [DigiByte-Core](https://gitter.im/DigiByte-Core) Gitter. * Ask for help on the [DigiByte Official Discussion](https://t.me/DigiByteCoin) Telegram channels. * Ask for help on #digibyte on Libera Chat.
