# Privacy Policy
Vexta Wallet is a non-custodial wallet.
Recovery phrases and private keys remain on the users device. The recovery phrase is stored locally in encrypted form using Android Keystore protection.
The wallet does not require an account and does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or recovery phrases.
The wallet connects to Vexta network nodes and the official update endpoint. Network operators may observe standard connection information such as IP address and connection time.
Users are responsible for securely backing up their recovery phrase.
